Glennifer Braes has the following attractions and activities.

Recreation: Woodland walks, wonderful views, peace and quiet, wide open spaces, moorland and hill grazing areas, streams and waterfalls, picnicking, walking the dog, birdwatching, kite flying, easter egg rolling and sledging in the snow.

Parking facilities are available at Robertson Car Park (Gleniffer Braes), Sergeantlaw Road, Braehead Road, Brownside Farm and Glen Park.

Gleniffer Braes Country Park contains examples of local biodiversity, ecology, upland farming, geology, local history and poetry and literature.

No refreshments within country park but there are local shops.

Toilet is available in Glen Lodge Information Centre when staff are present.

By Bus- Paisley Town Centre to Caplethill Road/Glenfield Road junction, please note there is a five minute walk to Glen Lodge Information Centre. Check Traveline on 0871 200 2233. By Car- Glen Lodge off the B774 Paisley to Barrhead Road Robertson Car Park, off Gleniffer Road on the B775 Paisley to Lugton Road.

There are many miles of formal and informal paths. These are a mixture of gravel and grass so wellies or walking boots are recommended. Cattle graze within the Country Park, please check our website for current grazing locations. Due to the upland nature of the park, some of the paths may not be suitable for everyone with limited mobility. Please phone or email if you require additional information or guidance.
