Get hands on in the science mall Bamboozle your senses in our new MindWorks exhibition that explores how we use sight, sound and touch to make sense of things around us, Shake hands with yourself, see how you would look in years to come or become a surgeon for the day! There's the new 'Be Creative' area where you can design, build, test and play with your invention, plus classic hands on exhibits covering topics like physics, electricity, magnetism, boilogical systems and loadsa other stuff too.
'The Big Explorer' is a special science playspace for under 8's, with a construction zone, a water play area (mac's provided!) and a softplay for under 3's

Dive right into the heart of the action in the IMAX Cinema Grab your 3D glasses and enjoy the IMAX experience! With a screen bigger than a 5-a-side football pitch and a digital 12,000 watt sound system, the IMAX shows 2D and 3D films that are totally out of this world!
Journey into space in one of the World's best planetariums Explore the wonders of the Universe, travel back in time, or explore the myths and mystery of the stars under the Planetarium dome.
There's a cafe that serves hot food, sandwiches, toasties, drinks, fruit, cakes and biscuits; plus a snack bar that does a roaring trade in tasty bacon rolls, snacks, tea and various frothy coffees. Baby bottle warmers and a microwave is available, adn baby food can be heated on request. The building is big, so there are vending machines for soft drinks and water strategically located around the place. The IMAX cinema has its own snack-bar serving classic cinema hot dogs and pop-corn.

Disabled toilets, baby changing facilities
We do not sell baby food but are happy to warm milk and baby food on request. Highchairs are available in the cafe. There's a soft play area on Floor 1 for the under 3's
Easy access by car (parking on site) or from city centre by public transport - a few minutes by taxi and about 10 by bus. Also on the Glasgow Sightseeing Bus tour route, which brings you right to the front door and, in summer, by river bus down the Clyde to Pacific Quay pontoon.
Make sure you take in a free Science Show on Floor 1, you can find out what's on by looking in, eeerrrm, our "What's On". The Planetarium is amazing and admission is a small supplement. Check the website, because there's often special things going on - we had an astronaut the other day and there's a full programme of things like 'meet the expert' events.
