Glamorgan Canal Nature Reserve
Glamorgan Canal Nature Reserve
The Nature Reserve, situated in Whitchurch Cardiff, was formed in 1967 and straddles the last remaining stretch of the former Cardiff Merthyr canal which still holds fresh water to a quality good enough to provide a good hunting ground for Kingfishers, Herons and many others species.
It's been said that it's the only place in the city that you could truly think you're in the country.
If you've had fun on your family day out to Glamorgan Canal Nature Reserve, tell us about it your visit, so other people will know it's a great place to go as well.
