About Foxfield Railway

Built in the 1890s the Foxfield Railway is still going today, with strength and panache! Take one of the dozens of unique and well cared for steam or diesel locomotives and enjoy a scenic countryside jaunt on the rails to chuff the kids (get it?!).

What's more their miniature gauge railway line also runs miniature engines for public passengers and is open every Sunday until the end of October. This is a quarter of a mile ride and suited to tiny types, those who aren't sure they fancy the big train, or just as bonus. Why not wind the kids up that it's just the little one, and then walk around the corner to catch a huge one!
