Fota Wildlife Park offers the visitor an A to Z of exotic animals including apes and monkeys, pelicans and penguins, kangaroos and ostrich, cheetahs, giraffes and zebras making up more than 90 different species of animals on the park, many of whom can wander freely around.
Take the train tour to see the sights of the whole park. Other children's activities include a playground with a giant giraffe slide, education programmes, feeding times and they run special family events during the school holidays. There's also a gift shop, restaurant and picnic areas.

We do strongly suggest you contact Fota Wildlife Park before you set off on your family day out, just to make sure they are open and to confirm admission prices, as there is nothing worse than disappointed kids in the back of your car after a long journey.
2016 Opening Details:
Monday through Saturday from 10am.
Sundays from 10.30am.
Last entry: 3.30pm every day.
Gates closed: 4.30pm.
The park is closed on Christmas Day and St Stephen's Day December 25th and 26th.
