Ferry Meadows Country Park

"what are we doing today?"

Ferry Meadows Country Park
There is something for everybody at Ferry Meadows.

You can hire canoes and kayaks from the the Watersports Centre or if you prefer something more leisurely how about a boat trip around the lake? You can even walk on water by climbing inside a huge plastic ball with Hydrosphere.

If you’re more of a land lover there is cycle hire, Segway tours, pitch and putt and a miniature train ride.

We also offer an events programme throughout the year which includes lots of activities for children including trails during school holidays and orienteering courses for older children.

Ferry Meadows has three play areas catering for different ages as well as woods, meadows and paths to explore on foot or by bike.

If all of this isn’t enough to keep you entertained the Visitor Centre stocks a wide range of toys and games such as kites, footballs, skittles and gliders and much much more.

After all this activity you can relax at one of the cafes with great views over the lakes, find a nice spot for a picnic or even fire up one of the barbeques available onsite.

Please note: many of the activities are seasonal so do contact us to check dates.
