Ferry Farm Country Park has plenty for a family to do and see, so it is a good idea to allow at least half a day, if not more, for your visit here.
There are loads of friendly animals to meet, from occasional new litters of lambs, piglets and goats, to guinea pigs, rabbits, and other animals that the kids can feed and pet.
The outdoor play area includes an assault course with zip line, trampolines, a huge sandpit, climbing frames, and pedal go karts.
This is all set in a large space surrounded by benches, so you can keep an eye on the kids while they play.
The indoor activity area is suitable for all ages, but there is also a separate baby and toddler area. This is a bright and stimulating area, which is fun in all weather.
There is a safe, fenced off, area for kids to sit on and ride tractors, Jumicar, a kid’s driving activity that also teaches road safety, plus a go kart track that is full for all ages.

It may be worth checking out Ferry Farm Country Park's website to see if there are any special events or seasonal fun things to do that may be going on during the day.
We do strongly suggest you contact Ferry Farm Country Park before you set off on your family day out, just to make sure they are open and to confirm admission prices, as there is nothing worse than disappointed kids in the back of your car after a long journey.
