Fairbourne Steam Railway
Travels the two and a half miles between Fairbourne and Penrhyn Point where it connects with a ferry which takes passengers across the Afon Mawddach to Barmouth.

Independent of the Railway, the Barmouth Ferries operate when trains run from Easter onwards.
Nearby located near to Beach Halt in Penrhyn Corner Pay-and-Display car park is a children's playground.

Across the road, behind the Penrhyn Amusements, there is a commercial children's Play Park with bouncy castle, crazy golf, trampolining and mini bumper cars.
