Exploris

"what are we doing today?"

This award-winning aquarium is one of Northern Ireland's premier attractions and is one of the most important marine sites in Europe.

It is also a fabulous day out for kids of all ages!

You'll find fantastically named sealife such as a Featherstar, Peacock Worm, the Starry Smoothound, Velvet Swimming Crab and Tompot Blenny to name a few. There are daily '€œtouch tank'€ sessions so you can get really close to our underwater friends and it hosts one of the largest open sea tanks in the UK. There are changing marine exhibitions and other activities and displays for everyone.

Exploris also has a purpose built Seal Sanctuary that looks after sick or abandoned seals!
