Exmouth Museum
'Exmouth Museum was first opened in 1985 and is housed in a 19th Century building
which was the Council Stables together with the adjoining foremans cottage. It is now divided into three galleries, two on the ground floor and one on the first floor. The museum is seen end on from the road making it appear a lot smaller than it really is. We show various aspects of Exmouth's past including Local Businesses, Wartime, Children's toys, School Photos and artefacts, Railways, Local Bricks, Antique Lace and Exmouth Commemorative China.
The Museum reflects Exmouth's rich social history and includes:
Exmouth memorabilia, local history, Victorian kitchen, 1930's dining room and antique bobbin lace.
Quiz sheets are available for young visitors and foreign language students. Interactive themes for the very young.'
