Just passed Ely Cathedral on the way down to London on the train and was stunned by it - will make sure i stop off next time on the way down and report back. Ely looks like a great place for a day out.

We do strongly suggest you ring Ely Cathedral before you set off on your family day out, just to make sure they are open and to confirm admission prices, there is nothing worse than disappointed kids in the back of your car after a long journey.
