Spring, summer, autumn and winter, the beauty of Eglinton Country Park is on your doorstep.

Eglinton Country Park gives you the space and freedom to enjoy a wide range of pursuits. There are tranquil country pursuits, walking, horse riding, fishing on the lochside or simply watching the world go by. Or there's a full programme of organized events run by our Countryside Rangers right through the year. Eglinton Country Park is situated within the historic boroughs of Kilwinning and Irvine and was developed around the ancient Eglinton Estate, home for 600 years to the Earls of Eglinton and Winton.

Within the park are three adventure playground areas. Close to the visitor centre is a contained play area for the under eights with plenty of seating and picnic tables to allow parents to watch their children in comfort with peace of mind.
Out towards the castle lawn is a long established play area for mixed ages.
