In just one day you can meet over 1000 wonderful animals in this beautiful parkland on the outskirts of Edinburgh.
There are also a wide range of exciting visitor experiences, from a free Hilltop Safari ride, the UK's only koalas.
There are also numerous children's play areas, restaurants, picnic areas and don't forget to pick up a 'zoovinier' from our gift shop.

It may be worth checking out Edinburgh Zoo's website to see if there are any special events or seasonal fun things to do that may be going on during the day.
We do strongly suggest you contact Edinburgh Zoo before you set off on your family day out, just to make sure they are open and to confirm admission prices, as there is nothing worse than disappointed kids in the back of your car after a long journey.
