Edinburgh Dungeons is not for the small or faint hearted! The big and the brave however will remember a trip here forever!
This is the ultimate journey through Scotland’s murky past for those with strong enough stomachs! Alongside a full costumed cast you and the family will be heartily dunked into 11 immersive live shows on 360 degree sets including a boat ride and a labyrinthine mirror maze! You can't get closer to the action than this and you'll receive a through and gruesome education during your 80 minutes of laughter, screaming, theatre, history and special effects.
Delve into the blood-curdling parts of history that your teachers never taught you: learn everything dark and deadly from the torturous methods used by unscrupulous characters to the grisly details of the most prolific killers! As you may have gathered, this is not for small ones!
It's well worth noting that it's not just the sights and sounds you have to consider when deciding if the kids could handle this: it's also the smells.
In places there are deliberate themed stenches and while it certainly does add atmosphere those with delicate noses should beware!
