Eden Project
Eden Project - Come and see bananas, coffee, rice, cola, cocoa, coconuts and rubber all growing at the Eden Project.
Experience the sights, sounds and smells of the jungle as you walk through the oceanic islands, Malaysia, West Africa and tropical South America in the largest greenhouse in the world - the Humid Tropics Biome.
The walk through the Warm Temperate Biome showcasing the Mediterranean, South Africa and California. Learn about the plants that we see day to day as well as the weird and the wacky.
The Core, Eden's Education Centre, is home to the Seed, a sculpture made from a single piece of granite that weighs as much as ten elephants. The Core is also the place to see exhibitions that show the importance of the world of plants as well as different films, talk and children's workshops.
Ask for a children's trail and set off around Eden in search of clues. Art and craft workshops also take place during the holidays. Please phone for details.
There are various play areas around the site including mazes made of willow, large instruments to play, a wooden ship to climb, a sand pit and a gigantic nutcracker to wind. You can walk down the winding paths or you can ride on the land train tractor.
Eden celebrates the seasons with an exciting array of activities which have included an exhilarating 450m zip wire ride. Spring sees Bulb Mania, summer brings Jungle season and the winter brings the Time of Gifts season with an undercover ice rink. Check the website for information on seasonal activities.
