At Druidstone Park it's back to nature: scenic surrounds, pleasing landscaping, treaty features and plenty of livestock to visit with, including sheep, goats, llamas, ponies, a donkey and some allegedly rather mischievous piggies.
There are ducks, geese and chickens too! Despite the list this place is fairly small, so be sure the kids aren't expecting a full on zoo!
The Enchanted Woodland is their name for the bluebell wood which is part of the ancient Blean. They've scattered whimsical characters and creatures throughout the area so kids (especially small ones) can take great delight in spotting, not that you need much observational power to spot the enormous dragon! Around Easter the blue bell wood is the most impressive, while you can get your budleja (also known as the butterfly bush because they love it so much!) fix through the summer, and autumn brings the uprising of many interesting mushrooms!
There's also an assault course style adventure playground which is a fairly simple affair, but that's ok because they can run around whilst you expire too. There's a cafe on site too open daily during the high season and offering hot and cold snacks and drinks to keep your motors running!

It may be worth checking out Druidstone Park's website to see if there are any special events or seasonal fun things to do that may be going on during the day.
We do strongly suggest you contact Druidstone Park before you set off on your family day out, just to make sure they are open and to confirm admission prices, as there is nothing worse than disappointed kids in the back of your car after a long journey.
Open Easter through Autumn 10am to 5.30pm Friday through Monday.
