Donington le Heath Manor House
The original manor house was once owned and fashionably ‘modernised’ around 1618 by the family of Everard Digby – one of the infamous Gunpowder Plotters.
See restored rooms and displays on medieval life, experience living history re-enactments or enjoy special seasonal events including pleasant summer evening performances in the recreated 17th century style gardens with flower gardens, an orchard, herb gardens and a maze.

If you are feeling hungry after your tour of the Manor House, light lunches, crispy salads and a range of traditional and exciting speciality rustic breads are there to tempt you. It is sign posted from the A511 near M1 junction 22 and A42 junction 12 with the A511.
