Science Oxford Live is Oxfordshire's cultural centre for science and enterprise.

It offers visitors a welcoming and stimulating space where they can discover how science fits into everyday life.

On the ground floor is a meet and greet area, a chill out refreshment area and a permanent exhibition for adults and older children on the 'Science in Oxford' exploring the science that surrounds us.

For children and their families is the discovery zone, an investigation area to experience science first-hand - fire a vortex of air, send secret whisper messages across the room, colour your shadow and much more. All our activities are hands-on and we encourage you to explore science by playing. From soft foam building blocks to a video microscope, the discovery zone has something for curious minds of all ages.

Suitable for 5+ and their families

Science Oxford Live has a water fountain and a drink machine. There is a chill out area with tables and stools as well as a few sofas that visitors can use to eat their own food.

Science related products including small items at pocket money price.

Disabled toilet and baby changing room

If you are coming by car, you can park at one of the car parks nearby (St.Clements car park near Angel and Greyhound or car park behind Tesco Metro off Cowley Road), or you can use the Park and Ride bus which runs between Thornhill (on the east side of town) and Seacourt (on the west).
