Dean Castle Country Park
Dean Castle Country Park is a fascinating place to visit for all ages.
We also have a full annual events programme for the whole family. Our newly installed nature cams means that you can enjoy the antics of some of our more secretive resident wildlife.
Kids and adults alike love exploring our aviaries and ponds which are home to ducks, geese, peacocks and exotic cockatiels, finches and love birds. Pets Corner also has a selection of animals including guinea pigs, rabbits, sheep and pygmy goats. Not forgetting Scott our Clydesdale horse, Timmy and Pip the donkeys - the noisiest members of Pets Corner and Penny, Bell and Bess the cows.
Our visitor centre has been revamped for 2008. Come and learn about local wildlife and how to help with our new interpretation, watch some of the resident wildlife of the country park on our nature cams, try our new tearoom menu or visit our newly extended shop.
Adventure Playground
