There are lots of opportunities for activity and adventure at Cutteslowe Park and Miniature Railway.
The largest park in Oxford offers spans 42 acres and holds a green flag award. Those with an adventurous spirit can pick up a map from the kiosk and go orienteering over the 18-control course. If you’d rather relax then come armed with swim shorts, towels and changes of clothes and let the children loose on the paddling pool as you lap up the sunshine as the sound of splashing, laughter and play washes over you.
Children will be spoilt for choice over not one but two play areas, or alternatively, you can embark on a family game of miniature golf or show off your skills at the skate park. The miniature railway is also not to be missed. or bring a ball to play a game of football, tennis or basketball on the pitch or court. Just be sure to ring ahead for all activities to check opening times as they are prone to change.
