The Cromer Treasure Trail, one of over 50 great Treasure Trails set around the wonderful county of Norfolk.

You won’t need a map or a GPS: just follow the directions, answer the clues and solve the Trail. Answers to the clues will be found on objects within the town or village such as gravestones, war memorials or information boards. Just remember though: you will need to look up, down and all around!

Trails are designed to be suitable for all ages. They are written in plain English: there is nothing cryptic in the Norfolk Trails! A single Trail copy is sufficient for a family sized group.

Once you have solved the Trail submit your answer online to see if you are correct. If so you will automatically be entered into our Prize Draw at the end of the year.

Our Trails will take you past a wide variety of food outlets dependant on location.

Public toilet facilities should be available on all Trails.

Cromer can be found at the northern end of the A140 / A148 or the eastern end of the Norfolk Coat Road (A149). It is well served by both Train and Bus services. The Trail itself starts in the Meadow Road car park (NR27 9EF), directly behind the North Norfolk Information Centre.

The majority of the Norfolk Trails are considered suitable for wheelchair and pushchair users (but please check the full Trail description on the website). Large print Trails are available, by post, from the Norfolk office.
