Cromer Beach

"what are we doing today?"

Cromer Beach

The sand and shingle beach backs on to the North Norfolk cliffs.

Rock pools are revealed at low tide. The lifeboat launches from the end of the pier.
Cromer is a popular destination for families and it is ideal for swimming and surfing.
Lifeguards are on duty from the spring bank holiday weekend in May to the end of the school summer holidays, in September.
There is also a lifeboat station and a first aid point.
On the seafront you will find toilets with disabled access, beach huts (there’s a waiting list if you want to buy) and a public shower. Close by are cafes, ice cream sellers and amusement arcades.
There's a promenade together with a pier housing a theatre and gardens. The town centre shops are nearby.
There is a pleasant walk along the cliff-tops to the lighthouse.

There are some ramps on to the beach but the level of the beach is constantly changing, so these may not always be usable.
