The Crocky Trail is a great little outdoor adventure trail a mere mile in length but with such a huge number of fun activities along the way it'll seem like longer to little legs, but short enough for big legs to turn around and do it again! You can get stuck into mazes, swings, flying plank (no, not Branson), slides, spinning disc, bridges, climbing pyramid, tunnels ('Of Doom', no less!) and more besides, and charmingly there is always a way around the more challenging obstacles so small ins don't overstretch themselves but still feel a sense of accomplishment on completion.
You and yours are very welcome to bring along snacks and picnics to eat in the picnic area, play area or along the trail in the open countryside if you prefer, so long as (of course) you leave none of it behind you! People are welcome to take dogs around the trail with them too with obvious lead and baggie based conditions, so bring one, bring all and bring Rover!
A word to the wise on outfits and kit bags: obviously out of summer (or even in it knowing our lovely Blighty!) it's best to wear clothes that you don't mind getting frankly wrecked, but wells aren't really an option if they're going to want to do all the things, which they will - so spare shoes are a must! There's also some serious potential to end up in the Crocky River, which whilst not deep is ever so wet so ideal would be a full change of clothes and a small towel tucked in the kit bag! For refuelling nutrition you've got the Crocky Shop on site for snacks and drinks and a Harvester nearby where you can sit for a proper meal and look over the comedy photos you've just taken!
