Whilst our shop makes us a little different from the average farm, we're still very much a working farm.

As well as growing crops for you to pick, or buy ready picked, we also grow crops such as wheat.

Like generations of farmers, part of daily work involves managing the countryside, such us planting hedges, creating beetle banks, sowing area of wild flower meadow etc. On your visit, take a stroll around the farm to see the work we do. Any questions about what is going on, just ask.

The Edinburgh and Lothian's Greenspace Trust has developed a number of trails and paths on the farm and nearby Craigie Hill. The Nature detective trail is aimed at primary school aged kids, however there are interpretation boards adults will understand too!
Just ask in the shop where you can access the paths on Craigie Hill.

Outside the cafe there is a terrace with tables that overlooks the Forth and leads to a fenced area where there are pedal tractors for the kids to play on. Visit the website for more details on what's going on at Craigie's Farm.
