Take a walk on the wild side at Cotswold Wildlife Park and Gardens. There a wide variety of animals to discover, from creepy crawlies, beautiful animals, excellent adventure playgrounds and a tropical House, Cotswold Farm Park makes for a magical day out with the kids!

Lots of families flock to the beautiful Wildlife Park each year to see the diverse range of animals and each of their quirky animal houses. There's lots of space to explore, learn and relax around the park. it's the perfect attraction for animal lovers.

So, shall we dive into all the fun family activities? I think so!

The Animals
Gaze at the Asiatic Lions lazing around in the Lion Enclosure - they are sleepy lions indeed! Get eye to eye with beautiful giraffes in the Giraffe Walkway. See the stunning White Rhinos on the lawn of the Gothic Manor House. Make sure you don't miss penguin feeding time between 11am and 3pm. There is a daily Penguin Talk too for all you sea-bird lovers, it's a real family favourite! 

Discover Cotswold Wildlife Park's huge collection of over 130 exotic bird species. Come across all sorts - from Emus, Cassowary, Owls, Pelicans, and Vultures, to the world’s biggest bird, the Ostrich, and everything in between. Don’t forget to keep an eye out for Flamingos and Pelicans when you pass by the lake! Feeling brave? Take a peek into the Reptile House for an up-close encounter with giant anacondas, crocodiles and deadly snakes. 

Kids Adventure Playgrounds & Fun Activities 
It’s not just animals you can have fun with at Cotswold. Take a ride on the narrow-gauge railway, or explore the stunning gardens and the huge park to see cacti, succulents and exoitic planting in the walled garden in the summer months. It's the most beautiful backdrop!

Energy still left in the tank? Run wild in the amazing  adventure playground, or climb 20 feet in the air on the scary sky maze. It’s going to be one wild day out! Scurry between interconnecting tree-houses, shoot over the rope bridges and shimmy down the epic slides. Children's Farmyard with goat petting area. 

Train Station 
Choo Choo! Wanna go for a train ride around the beautiful parkland? The narrow-gauge railway runs during April to October from 12.00 pm until 4:00 pm (weather permitting) and takes you all around the Park. Its costs: £2.00 for adults , £1.00 for children and under 3’s free of charge. Who knows what other lovely animals you might see on your travels...
  
Food & Drink
Looking for food outlets at the farm park? You should try the charming Oak Tree Restaurant. Situated at the rear of the Grove Manor House, this restaurant serves a wide range of delicious treats to the Park’s visitors, from hot food, drinks, sandwiches and cakes. All food is prepared from fresh local ingredients, making it extra authentic! Psst, it's award-winning food too! The Victorian Manor House restaurant is open at 10.00am and closes at 5.00pm in Summer and in Winter, closes at 4.00pm.

Planning a park picnic? At Cotswold Wildlife Animal Park there is plenty of space to relax. There are picnic shelters around the Park, or you can enjoy your picnic on one of the spacious lawns which overlook the enclosures for Rhinos, Zebras and Giraffes. Unwind with your tasty treats while watching characterful animals playing in their animal enclosures. It's important to stress that Barbecues are not allowed at this attraction.

Refreshment kiosks selling hot drinks and ice cream can be found near the Camels and opposite the Red pandas. Next to the Gift Shop, there is a kiosk selling snacks, sweets, ice creams and milkshakes. Please note that these kiosks are seasonal and only open on busy days.
 
Gift shop
After a little keepsake? The Cotswold Wildlife Park Gift Shop is situated just off the main car park. It's run by super helpful and friendly staff so no query is ever a silly one! The shop sells a wide selection of gifts for children, toys and souvenirs for all ages. The Gift shop closes at 5.00pm in the summer and 4.00pm in the winter.
