Cookham Walking Treasure Trail

"what are we doing today?"

Treasure Trails’ treasure hunts are a fantastic way to explore a new town or village whilst enjoying a fun walk in the fresh air.

Children love competing to solve the clues and don’t even realise they are learning about the area and getting some exercise

The answers to the clues are located on existing monuments, buildings and structures – some are easy to find, some are a little bit trickier! You can choose to solve a mystery, go on a treasure hunt or crack the code to save the world in a spy mission

After you have completed the Trail you can enter your answer online to be in with a chance of winning a cash prize!

"i'm hungry"

There are restaurants, cafes and pubs along the Cookham Trail route giving you lots of choice for eating and drinking.

"i need a wee"

There are public toilets along the route.

"are we there yet?"

Car parking is free. This Trail is about a mile and a half and likely to take about one and a half to two hours. You will enjoy a walk around the area, seeing the sights whilst looking for answers to clues.

...got any top tips?

Most Trails take around two hours to complete and can be downloaded and printed at home or ordered as a booklet to be posted from the Treasure Trails website. Please allow one and a half to two hours to complete the Cookham Trail. Unfortunately the Cookham Trail is not recommended for wheelchairs.
