Cocks Moors Woods
Cocks Moors Woods Leisure Centre
In their leisure pool they have a wave machine, a whopping 50 metre flume and loads of fun interactive water features specially designed to delight the kids for hours on end! The baby pool and exit and entry can be by a graduated beach area or steps so it's reassuringly safe even when you're carrying a few small ones.
Plus if you've got enough grown ups to split forces for a while then one of you can hit the gym or the sports courts at the same time! Adequate over 16 supervision of the kids still required though, of course! There is a soft play facility for younger children in a main hall where little ones can enjoy adventure play, a bouncy castle, led parachute games and nursery rhyme sessions, plus a playpark nearby outside more suited to the older ones.
There are plenty of other sporting opportunities here including an 18 hole Golf Course (full on golf, not mini or crazy), badminton courts and football pitches.
Please note that we've heard the temperature of the pool water is apparently lower than usual, so wetsuits probably best for small ones!
