About City Sightseeing Chester Hop On Hop Off Tour
Chester is rich with archaeological and architectural treasures and with City Sightseeing you can experience them all from the comfort of a double decker bus!
Discover Chester’s ancient Amphitheatre where the partially excavated ruins of the largest stone-built Roman military remain and continue the Roman history theme with a trip to the award-winning Dewa Roman Experience where you can walk through Roman streets and explore the archaeological remains.
Hop off and see Chester Racecourse or take a walk around the County Hall and Castle. Then journey through three centuries of Cheshire history at the Cheshire Military Museum.
For any shopaholics there are plenty of opportunities to treat yourself! On Frodham Street you’ll find the Mall and The Grosvenor Shopping Centres, the Forum Shopping Centre and Markets are also well worth a visit!
Spend your evenings relaxing with a delicious meal at one of Chester’s many trendy bars, real ale pubs or cosy bistros; or for something different take an evening cruise along the river.
The tour has 13 stops across one route with buses departing every 30 minutes so chose a time and a place to suit you!
