There is a great adventure play park with a sand pit so don't forget the bucket and spade!

The visitors' centre also has lots to discover and is a nice place to eat. It also has a gift shop with pocket money novelties for children.

We do strongly suggest you ring Chatelherault Country Park before you set off on your family day out, just to make sure they are open and to confirm admission prices, there is nothing worse than disappointed kids in the back of your car after a long journey.
