Chantry Park
Chantry Park
A new £200,000 children’s play area in Chantry Park was officially opened at the end of 2009 by the Mayor of Ipswich.
The state-of-the-art play area, designed by major play area manufacturer Kompan, has replaced a small set of swings and wooden frame close to the Hadleigh Road entrance to the park.
There is quite a bit for older children including a zip wire and rope/trampoline climbing structure.
Toddlers and younger children have plenty of swings, slides and roundabouts to choose from. There are a few picnic tables and toilets near by. And all this in a really beautiful park with lovely walks and views and plenty of areas to explore such as the gardens, woods and wildlife areas.
If you've had fun on your family day out to Chantry Park, tell us about it your visit, so other people will know it's a great place to go as well.
