Castle Campbell
Castle Campbell has all the look of a fairytale castle set high among the rich woodland of Dollar Glen.
Built on a high mound with steep ravines on three sides, the first sighting of this castle is truly breathtaking.
Essentially a 15th century castle with later additions, the castle was acquired by the powerful Campbells of Argyll as a stronghold near to the Royal court at Stirling Castle.
You could also take a walk through the picturesque glen, this is a great place to visit with a cafe in the summer that boasts delicious home baking, a wonderful historical experience.
