Cannon Hall Farm
Cannon Hall Farm is an award winning family run attraction offering a great day out with something for everyone.
Our farmyard is full of animals from cattle, sheep, pigs and goats to donkeys, llamas, alpacas and wallabies. There's always something new and exciting to see as new baby animals are being born all the time.
Our toy and gift shop provides a great place to search for a souvenir of your day and just around the corner our 250 seat restaurant provides home made hot and cold food at value for money prices.
The farmyard has good access for wheelchairs.
Cannon Hall Farm has a 250 seat restaurant serving homemade hot and cold food. We have seating outdoors for a further 150 people. We also have ice cream serveries and a picnic area. Our notoriously good farm shop offers home produced beef, pork and lamb alongside a great range of food and drink much of it sourced locally. Our delicatessen sells home made pies alongside a range of foods from around the world.
A wide range of toys, gifts and souvenirs are available in our shop.
We have toilets on site including a disabled toilet and baby changing facilities in the restaurant.
We have a microwave in the restaurant for heating baby food and milk.
Cannon Hall Farm is located 5 miles west of Barnsley, signposted off the A635 only 10 minutes from the M1. Follow the signs for 'Cannon Hall Farm' then 'Open Farm Only'.
At Cannon Hall Farm wellies are not needed for the farmyard but if you want to visit the park next door they might be a good idea. Top tip is bring the whole family as there will be something that everyone will enjoy and families don't spend as much time together as they should these days!
We've just had a great day out at Cannon Hall. We feed; pigs, sheep, goats, lamas and alpacas. We saw rabbits, guinea pigs and chinchillas. The shop had a very wide selection of things to buy at reasonable prices. We'll be going back again before the end of the holidays.
