Callendar House

"what are we doing today?"

Situated amidst magnificent park and woodland, Callendar House tells stories spanning 600 years of Scottish history.

Through wars, rebellions and the industrial revolution, the house has played host to many great historical figures over the centuries, including Mary, Queen of Scots, Cromwell and Bonnie Prince Charlie.

Callendar House is nice to walk round with boating pond, kids play area and woodland walks.

We do strongly suggest you ring Callendar House before you set off on your family day out, just to make sure they are open and to confirm admission prices, there is nothing worse than disappointed kids in the back of your car after a long journey.
