Butterfly House and Seaforde Gardens
Telephone: 028 4481 1225
The Seaforde Tropical Butterfly House features an awesome flight area with hundreds of free-flying exotic butterflies alongside Ireland's oldest maze! See the entire life of butterflies first hand and experience the graceful majesty of these creatures.
The carefully replicated landscape also houses a wonderful display of tropical insects and reptiles from Africa, Asia, Australia and the Americas. Unlike the butterflies, these are safely housed behind glass so you can marvel at their monstrous beauty from a point of reassuring safety!
Seaforde Gardens also has a family friendly tearoom, a Butterfly themed shop and a children's adventure playground on offer to help keep the kids occupied and entertained! Climb and slide, run and hide, plenty of things to see and do.

We do strongly suggest you contact Butterfly House and Seaforde Gardens before you set off on your family day out, just to make sure they are open and to confirm admission prices, as there is nothing worse than disappointed kids in the back of your car after a long journey.
