Attraction Information
Bridlngton Beach is a traditional family resort with beaches that have been declared among the country's best for making sandcastles, not least because they are so scrupulously clean.
Swimming is okay but watch out for the groynes, and lifeguard cover is from July through August.
Immediate facilities include toilets with disabled facilities, beach huts and deck chairs for hire (details at seafront), first aid post and lost child centre.
Further attractions nearby include the Land Train, the Bridlington Eye, the Harbour Museum and the Beside The Seaside Experience Museum which is full of waxworks and exhibits depicting the town's past.
Do not use Belvedere Parade on your approach even if your sat nav suggests it, there is no access to the car park from this direction: instead follow signs to the Park and Ride on the outskirts of town and park here to access the beach with signposting.
The postcode given is for the local tourist information centre to use with satnav, so please plan your full journey independently.
