About Braywick Nature Centre
Braywick Nature Centre, working together with Groundwork South, offers a community hub that promotes awareness of the natural environment, with walks, events, and talks across the Borough.
The centre also contains a number of exhibitions and displays on local history, wildlife, and sustainability so you've got plenty of scope for some secret schooling. It is housed in a charming 19th century stable block that was originally part of the Braywick Lodge estate, but was refurbished in 1989 to provide a classily housed centre for environmental activities.
There is plenty for everyone to see and do here. Have an adventure with Chase the squirrel, hug a giant Cedar wood, have a go at art, make an instrument, stomp around the grounds, or hang out in the giant tipi! The actual reserve is always open, and it's free to visit, making it a fantastic place for some family fun that won't break the bank. The parking is free too! The centre also has toilets, baby changing facilities, and disabled access.
This family friendly centre has a number of events throughout the year, so check online through the link or call to find out more about what's on. You can usually bag some extra fun around the major school holidays, but also remember the park area changes dramatically around the turn of the seasons too. Fun everywhere you look!
