Children love Bowood!

There's space to run and play and beautiful parkland and a waterfall to enjoy, but the main reason kids love Bowood is because it's home to one of the best adventure playgrounds in the country.

Under 12's are guaranteed to have fun with a life size pirate ship, giant slides, aerial rope-walks, chutes, trampolines, scary space dive and lots more to enjoy.

Younger members of the family can enjoy their own play area as well as a ball pool, sandpit and swing boats.

Explore Bowood's Pleasure Gardens and discover huge trees, secret caves and even a temple, as well as all the wildlife.

Bowood is also home to a Soft Play Palace. Children will find two levels of undercover fun with slides, ball pools, net bridges and more.

And if you're looking to hold a birthday party, Bowood's Party Rooms are perfect. Whether it's your little pirate or your fairy princess who's celebrating, our themed rooms and a range of packages guarantee the best party ever.

As well as offering all the above, Bowood offers beautiful 'Capability' Brown designed gardens and a stately home filled with treasures.

Sunday Lunch The House Restaurant is open on Sundays only for carveries.

Book in advance and entrance to the House & Gardens is free.

Coffee Shop Situated at the main entrance serving a selection of tempting hot and cold foods, including sandwiches, snacks and refreshments.

Light refreshments are also available at the Soft Play Palace and in the Adventure Playground (weekends & holidays only)

Dietary requirements are catered for.

Our Souvenir Shop sells a wide variety of products from cuddly toys, stationary and ornaments to paintings, handbags and clothing.

Toilet facilities are available at the Coffee Shop, the Soft Play Palace and in the House.

Disabled toilets are on site, also baby changing facilities are available.

The Coffee Shop our staff are able to heat milk and baby food.

Entrance to Bowood House & Gardens is off the A4 between Calne & Chippenham. Bowood is also sign posted from junction 17 of the M4

The nearest train station is located in Chippenham, approximately 3 miles away.
