What kid wouldn't want to sit at the controls of a real aircraft - well here we have a fab lot of military and civilian planes.

Loads of other flying exhibits including a collection of model aircraft and an area for picnics close to the main runway at the airport in Bournemouth.

We had a good half day out there recently. Plenty of hands on cockpits for little (& big) boys to play with. Not overpriced for what there is to see. Lots of outdoor stuff, so needs to be dry and good viewing of take off and landing of planes at the airport. Bad signing (not museums fault) - so look at the back of the site for the right (grey) hangar and free parking (don't park and pay like we did). Shop is well stocked and you can get a hot drink (machine) and snacks but picnic tables are around and an indoor room too if weather not good & you have a picnic. We'd go again another year.
