"what are we doing today?"

Birdland is a natural setting inhabited by over 500 birds from around the world, including the only King Penguins in England and over 50 aviaries of parrots, falcons, pheasants, hornbills, toucans, touracos, pigeons, ibis and many more.

New for Easter a 2.5 acre Nature Trail 'Marshmouth Reserve' and a covered area with graphic story of the egg and What is a bird,including a soft play area and lecture theatre/conference facility.

We will continue our programme of new aviaries and increase our visitor interaction.

Penguin Talk, Pelican Talk, Meet a Keeper Talk, Reptile Awareness, Bird of Prey Encounter, Feed a Penguin, Keeper for the Day and more to be developed.

We are just producing our first newsletter which will be available from the website, along with all the up to date information.

"i'm hungry"

The Penguin Cafe is run by Tom and Teana and there is plenty of space for indoor and outdoor conditions. groups and birthday parties organised. Just contact in advance for any special meal requirements.

"Can I have one of those?"

We have a Gift Shop with a wide range of bird realted gifts and souveniers with prices items for all ages and to suit all pockets.

"i need a wee"

The toilets are in the cafe with facilities the disbled and changing facilities for babies.

"are we there yet?"

Birdland is situated in the heart of the Cotswolds, a five minute walk from the centre of Bourton on the Water. Cheltenham, Oxford, Swindon and Stratford upon Avon are all within a 30 mile radius of Birdland. Access mainly via the A429 SatNav - GL54 2BN
