Bewl Water is the largest inland water in the southeast.

With a perimeter of 17 miles, the reservoir lies in a gentle valley within the High Weald Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty between the villages of Lamberhurst, Wadhurst and Ticehurst.

If you go down to the woods today...The enchanting split-level playground, lies secretly within the woodland close to the Waterside restaurant. With its wooden forts, towers, bridges and the House of the Three Bears it is a magnet for all children aged 6-12 years. A huge embankment slide caries youngsters to the lower level while ascending wooden towers with interconnecting bridges allow the journey back up.

Childrens Fishing....Bigger and better than last year, the children's fishing pond remains ever popular, offering either keep or release. We can also offer birthday parties based around the attractions.

We have a newly refurbished restaurant, offering a range of delicious food. We also have a coffee lounge and snack bar with drinks, crisps and ice cream etc.

We currently do not have a souvenir shop.

We have plenty of toilet facilities, including with disabled access, located in the Waterside restaurant building.

There are baby changing facilities located in the Waterside restaurant building.

Bewl Water is situated just one mile south of Lamberhurst off the main A21 London to Hastings road. Turn off the A21 at the traffic islands marked with brown tourist sign and follow road to entrance gate.

When visiting Bewl Water, please wear suitable outdoor footwear as some surfaces are uneven. Socks must be worn on the hydroballs.
