Good things really do come in small packages!  Depicting rural England in the l930s, Bekonscot is a wonderland of make-believe with miniature people going about their daily work and play.  There are many moving models and a busy model railway races its way between the villages, over bridges and under your feet.  There is a sit-on railway that runs during school holidays and at weekends.

Bekonscot is open daily from mid-Feb until 29th October.

The exhibition is in the open (although there are places to shelter from the rain). Therefore wear adequate clothing. Bekonscot is buggy and wheelchair friendly.

Bring pound coins for the remote control boats in the village lake and 70p for the ride on train which runsz round the village (which has been extended this year).

Quite simply a must for every kid under 7 - when my kids come down to London, we make sure we go to Bekonscott in the morning, have lunch, then go across the road to Zoom in the afternoon - the kids have a great day out and sleep like logs - your job as a parent is done, and you have great fun doing it! 12/10 - in my top ten kids attractions in the country
