This impressive Georgian mansion, surrounded by glorious parkland, was lovingly rescued from ruin by Lord and Lady Iliffe in the mid 1950s.

There are waymarked trails through the historic parkland and gravel paths around the gardens.

We do strongly suggest you ring Basildon Park before you set off on your family day out, just to make sure they are open and to confirm admission prices, there is nothing worse than disappointed kids in the back of your car after a long journey.
