Aylsham Fun Barns is an all weather play centre. Two large barns and a stable block house the café, toilets and the indoor play. The outside is mainly bark covered with paved walkways around the adventure playgrounds leading to the paddock walk where you can feed the animals in the 8 paddocks. The digger pit has pedal diggers and tractors where you can load and move, pile up and make a mess of the wood chip.

You can get a pony ride most days during the summer is the weather is dry. The giant bouncy slide and bouncy castle are inside so you can bounce and stay dry.

"slow food" themed café with local produce and great children's menu (boiled egg and soldiers etc). All cakes made and cooked on site. Fresh fruit usually on sale. No fizzy drinks, no chips, no chicken nuggets.

We do not have a souvenir shop

Disabled Toilet and Baby Changing facilities. Toddler loo seats. Hand dryers and proper towels.

The café will always warm baby food and milk etc for you. No baby food sold.

North from Norwich on A140 until Aylsham roundabout. Turn left and then 2nd left. Brown tourist signs on all approach roads. Bus 711 (the Broads Hopper) from Wroxham to Aylsham will stop and drop off/ pick up at Bure Valley Railway.

Wellies are useful in wet weather if you want to feed the animals. The site is buggy friendly and don't let the goats nibble your coat. A picnic blanket might help in the busy times.

The kids (4 & 6) had a great couple of hours at the Fun Barns. Lots of different things to do, go round and see/feed the animals (the goats were very friendly), a great bouncy slide, the outdoor play area and the particular favourite, the tractor ride ons - the cakes were scrum too - really enjoyable afternoon.
