"what are we doing today?"

Surrounded by ancient woodlands, deep in the Sussex Downs, overlooked by Arundel Castle, a series of naturalised lakes, ponds and channels each offer wetlands habitats for wildlife and wildfowl from around the world.

During summer holidays a discovery trail, craft activities and pond-dipping are on offer every day. Hand feed the geese and ducks with Ducks Dinners available for a small charge. Free boat safaris are available around our Wetlands Discovery area. Peaceful strolls and picnics can be enjoyed throughout the year.

The Water's Edge Cafe offers a delicious selection of hot and cold food, a variety of coffees and chilled drinks, and tempting home-made cakes. The cafe offers a children's meal box. The cafe is licensed and seating is available in the main viewing gallery and outside on our deck.

healthy food

Fairtrade coffee, free range eggs and organic milk are served. We are red tractor approved. Gluten free and other dietary requirements available.

"Can I have one of those?"

Fully stocked Gift Shop with articles for pocket money, up to excellent reference books, chinaware and other products with a wildlife theme.

"i need a wee"

Disabled toilets and facilities for nappy changing.

"are we there yet?"

Just off the A27 and A29, WWT is only 0.5 mile from Arundel Town Centre pleasant walk along tree lined avenue with great views. Arundel Town ÃÆ'‚¯ÃÆ'‚¿ÃÆ'‚½ mile from Railway Station. Buses run weekdays from Littlehampton & Chichester.

...got any top tips?

The WWT Arundel Wetland Centre is wheelchair and buggy friendly with no steps or ramps. Whilst an outdoor activity centre, the paths and boardwalks are fully surfaced and wellies are not needed. Only Service dogs are allowed.
