Appley Park is a great place for young children to wear themselves out whilst you soak in the sun and enjoy the wonderful views across Ryde to the mainland of Portsmouth.

The adventure playground is close to a sandy beach and offers a range of play things - pirate ship, slides (soft landing on the sand!), play huts and the usual see-saws etc..

Take a bucket and spade to transport the sand on the winches: great for the inquisitive!

At nearby Ryde Seafront there's also a paddling pool, trickle stream, and water play area- we have heard one should take a good play bucket along to take full advantage.
