American Museum is children friendly with lots of colourful items on display to interest children.

In school holidays there are free Kids craft activities on each Thursday afternoon for over 5’s (grounds only admission ticket needed).

At weekends during the season there are various Living History re-enactments which include a Cowboy Weekend for the first time this year.

Beautiful grounds for children to explore and play in.

Café serves light lunches and teas from 12.00 on. There is a picnic area near the car park. Picnics are not permitted within the grounds.

We have three retail outlets. One sells herbs and plants; one sells Americana and one sells books and gift items

We are situated on the south side of Bath next to the campus of the University of Bath. From the A36 turn at Claverton Village up a small road. It is marked American Museum. Our entrance is on the right side of the road a little way up. Any bus to University of Bath then a 10 minute walk
