Addison Howard Park
Kempston, BedfordshireAbout Addison Howard Park
In the landscaped grounds of Addison Howard Park you can picnic, play family games, enjoy the adventure play area and climbing frame suited for under 8s, plus sand play, sit on toys, and as a pleasant bonus it's very popular with squirrels so an excellent place to wildlife spot too. Classic family fare for an outdoorsy day out!
In recent years this much loved community park has undergone a number of improvements to its now extensive adventure play area, plus they have refurbished the tennis and basketball courts and have established drainage works on the sports pitches for better winter play! Busy bunnies, so the park is better than ever whether you want to lounge, play, compete or do everything!
Addison Howard Park also plays a happy host to a number of fun and family oriented events throughout the year which includes funfairs, Carols in the Park, Kempston Fun Day and the Chill in the Park event every June. So it's well worth using the link to have a look at the up and coming events to add something really special to your family park day.
The Addison Centre on it's periphery caters for children's party functions. There are cricket, bowls and football pitches to hire too, with advance booking, so there are loads of ways to extend your trip and make it a bit more special. Or you can take balls, frisbees and whatnot and play traditional family games while you picnic!
