The Aberaeron Treasure Hunt Trail starts in the car park by the yacht club at the mouth of the river.

The Trails takes you around the harbour, along the seafront and a little way along the coastal path before turning inland to do a squiggle around the town. Finally you finish along the pretty riverside walk to bring you back to the start.
Regrettably, a small part of the Trail covers the coastal path (shingle and grass) and is not considered suitable for wheelchairs.

The Aberaeron Treasure Hunt Trail winds its way through the centre of Aberaeron so there is plenty of opportunity to eat and drink with numerous cafés, restaurants, pubs and food outlets available.

There is one health food store in Aberaeron; you can find it in Victoria Street which is on the route of the Trail.

There are a number of public toilets along the route of the Aberaeron Treasure Hunt Trail. Some have disabled access and baby changing facilities.

Treasure Trails do not have a physical presence in Aberaeron, but you can buy baby food in other retail outlets.

The Aberaeron Treasure Hunt Trail starts in the car park by the Yacht Club at the mouth of the river, it is at the end of Wellington Street. Approaching from the west, Wellington Street is the first on the left as you enter the town. From the east, go through the town centre on the A487, and then as you start to go uphill, go past the Holy Trinity church on your left and then turn 3rd right into Wellington street.

The Aberaeron Treasure Hunt Trail takes around 2 hours to complete, longer if you stop for a cup of tea and ice cream. Part of the Trail is along the coastal path so, regrettably is unsuitable for wheelchairs. Look out for dolphins as you go along the seafront
