Regal Movieplex is a multi-screen cinema in the middle of Cromer town centre, great for something to do with the kids when the weather is a bit grotty!
They show the normal range of up to date family blockbusters plus of course the more grown-up stuff too if you've got teens. A happy family bonding session with popcorn and entertainment: classic!
For a full century now family films have been shown on this site, since it was The Cromer Theatre of Varieties in 1914 showing short silent films between the variety acts of the day. Over the time the theatre itself was enlarged, repeatedly modernised and a shiny new balcony floor added in 1936.
Despite its numerous name changes over the years the building remains the oldest cinema still operating in the county! These days it is a very popular 4 screen cinema, the rainy day and quiet evening resource of choice for holiday makers and locals alike.
Opening Times
Film showings vary but are shown daily, the cinema opens 20 minutes prior to this.
Watch out for weekend morning matinees for kids.
