Caldicot Castle
Caldicot, Monmouthshire and GwentAbout Caldicot Castle
Visit Caldicot Castle in its beautiful setting of tranquil gardens and a wooded country park.
Find out about its past with our digital tours, explore the medieval towers and take in the breath-taking views of the parklands and surrounding area from the battlements.
Our courtyard is mostly both wheelchair and pushchair friendly, but unfortunately due to our listed building status there is no accessabiliy support to explore the towers or second storey of the buildings.
Our gift shop boasts a charming range of souvenirs, snacks and drinks to be enjoyed during your visit.
Not sure about the weather? Our indoor spaces provide a immersive experience while keeping you warm and dry should the weather take a rainy turn. Our Banquet hall on the second floor gives the chance to try on replica costumes and dine at the Lord and Ladys table!
Our Country Park includes 55 Acres of beautiful countryside - featuring a pond, the river Nedern, woodland and grassy meadow to explore. Our Carpark is free, and has public toilets and a childrens play area.
We take pride in being family friendly - including fourlegged family members - dogs are welcome (on lead inside Castle courtyard and buildings), even offering doggy snacks in our shop.
Our website provides information regarding events coming up, from festivals, concerts, guided tours and more!
